WALL OF SHAME — CONTENT POLICY

Keep it about the work.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

The Wall is for poking fun at a marketing design you can actually see: the layout, the type, the weird hands, the gibberish text. A post is your opinion about that design, not a finding about the people behind it.

What the Wall is

The Wall of Shame is a satirical gallery of marketing that people think looks AI-generated, low-effort, or just plain sloppy. It is a place to poke fun at a design, not a review site, a scam-report site, or a place to make accusations.

Wall of Shame posts are user-submitted opinions about displayed marketing material. They are not verified findings about how the material was created.

You are responsible for what you post

When you submit something, you are saying it is your own genuine, good-faith opinion about the work you can see. You confirm that any business or organization you name is accurately associated with that material, and that you are not submitting private information, personal attacks, threats, or unrelated accusations.

If you are not sure whose material it is, leave the business blank. An unidentified post is a perfectly good post.

What doesn’t go on the Wall

Anything you know to be false.

Accusations of illegal activity, fraud, scams, theft, or copyright infringement.

Claims presented as fact about how something was made (naming a tool, saying someone “used AI”) or about who was hired or let go.

Personal attacks on owners or employees, or naming private individuals.

Private information: phone numbers, personal emails, home addresses, financial or medical details. No doxxing.

Threats, harassment, or attacks on anyone for who they are.

Sexual content involving identifiable private people.

Unrelated grievances about a business.

Telling people to contact, harass, review-bomb, or otherwise pile onto the business.

Don’t tell people to contact, harass, review-bomb, or otherwise pile onto the business.

No impersonation

Don’t pretend to be a business, an owner, or a moderator, and don’t submit material to make it look like it belongs to someone it doesn’t.

How we moderate

Every post is reviewed by a person before it appears. We can approve it, edit or redact parts of it, remove the business name or location and leave the critique, decline it, or take it down later. Automated checks only flag things for a person to look at; they never decide anything on their own.

We keep a record of what was submitted and what we changed, so decisions can be reviewed. We do not make that record public.

We can limit or end posting from accounts that repeatedly break these rules or whose posts have to be removed again and again.

Reporting and removal

Anyone can report a post, for example if it names the wrong business, contains private information, makes a false claim, harasses someone, or is spam. Reports go to the moderators, who look at them in turn.

If you own or represent the business or organization in a post, you can contest it for free: dispute the attribution, report inaccurate information, ask for private information to be removed, or show us the improved version. You do not need an account, and nothing about it involves buying or signing up for anything. Use “Contest this post” on the post itself.

A post that is under review may be taken off the Wall while we look at it.

UNSLOPPED

Fixed it? We love that. Send us the improved version through “Contest this post” and, if it is a real glow-up, we can mark the post UNSLOPPED and show the before and the after. This is free and doesn’t depend on how you made the new design or what you used to make it.

If you believe a post uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell us through “Contest this post” and choose “Copyright concern.” Please identify the work, say where the post is, and include the statement and signature the form asks for. We remove material when we reasonably believe a copyright claim is valid, and we may end posting for people who repeatedly post material they have no right to.

The form is the way to reach us about a copyright concern.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy; the date at the top tells you when it last changed. It sits alongside our terms and privacy notice. For anything else, see contact.
